Mahony, MVB:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-17504a4a wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Orla Mahony is a small animal internist with a special interest in endocrinology. A clinical associate professor at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mahony teaches senior students during their small animal internal medicine rotations. Growing up in Ireland and spending time on her family\u2019s farm, Dr. Mahony says she always wanted to be a veterinarian. After attending University College in Dublin for veterinary training and an internship, Dr. Mahony moved to England to work in small animal practice. She wanted to specialize further and was accepted into a residency program at Tufts, where she has worked since 1994. Although she enjoys all aspects of endocrinology, she finds helping diabetic patients especially rewarding.
